Jennifer Aniston, in the September issue of Harpers Bazaar, got to be her idol Barbra Streisand at least for a photo shoot.
Barbra inspires me because there isnt anything she hasnt done that she wanted to do, especially as a female in the time when her generation was prime. Shes a true renaissance woman, Us reports Aniston saying about Streisand in the Bazaar interview.
Aniston, 41, portrayed Streisand from her roles in Funny Girl and Whats Up, Doc, sporting the iconic nails and hair of the legendary entertainer.
In the interview with the magazine, Aniston also talked about her experience meeting Streisand a few years ago at a New Years Eve party.
Ive loved her since I was a kid, and all of a sudden there she is, and shes just like someone youve always known, Aniston said. You know when you meet people you idolize and then you walk away from the conversation thinking, Well, that was a disappointment. They were kinder and more fabulous in my mind? Well, she was wonderful, and you could talk to her about anything.
Anistons latest movie, The Switch, is scheduled to come out in theaters August 20.
