Justin Bieber Becomes Spokesman for Proactiv Acne System

Justin Bieber... Your children may know him. Your children probably has caught Bieber Fever once. The teen heartthrob Justin Bieber, a 16-year-old Canadian-born singer, has been named spokesman for a Proactiv acne system advertising campaign, the company said.

Bieber will talk to teens about being proactive about acne and skin care to prevent breakouts as part of the brands unique Be Proactiv marketing campaign, Proactive said in a news release Monday.

This YouTube sensation was the first recording artist to have seven songs from a debut album on Billboards Hot 100 chart, with My World, which was released in November on Island Def Jam, the company said.

Bieber also has something else going for him, an illustrated memoir, Justin Bieber: First Step 2 Forever: My Story, to be published in October in both the U.S. and U.K. by Harper Collins.
