Kat Von D, LA Ink star, is "committed to making the world a better place," says her future husband and Monster Garage host, Jesse James.
In an interview with People magazine, the couple recently confirmed their engagement.
They began dating last summer after James' divorce from Hollywood actress, Sandra Bullock, was finalized.
James, 41, told the magazine his love for Von D, 28, is "beyond description" and says, "growing old with her is going to be a f----n' blast!"
James currently lives in Austin Texas, and Von D is in Los Angeles. She spoke to People about the living situation, saying:
"Having two places we call home will be good for now. In the end, home is where the heart is, and my heart's with him."
