Landon Donovanhe may be the intentional face of U.S. soccer, but he obviously doesnt command the same paycheck as teammate David Beckham.
According to divorce papers filed on Tuesday, the L.A. Galaxy star is seeking spousal support from his former wife, Rules of Engagement actress Bianca Kajlich. He is also requesting she pay for his attorneys fees.
The divorce comes after the couple first separated in July 2009. Although there were rumors of a possible reconciliation during the World Cup (Donovan had dedicated a goal to Kajlich), any possibility was squashed after allegations charged that Donovan had father a love child with a British woman.
Donovoan later told E!News, "I know now that I will not be a dad anytime soon, which is good for me."
Donovan, 28, and Kajlich, 33, wed on New Years Eve in 2006. Donovan cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split and the couples have no children together.
