Larry David’s new girlfriend, Amy Landecker, was married when they started dating in February, according to the New York Post’s Page Six column.

The Post labeled David, the creator of such shows as “Seinfeld” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” as a “home-wrecker” stating “there were ‘sparks on the set’ between Larry and Landecker, who was wed for six years to journalist Jackson Lynch with whom she has a daughter.” Landecker and Lynch filed for divorce in March, but are still finalizing the terms.

“This is obviously a sad set of circumstance for our family,” Lynch said in a statement published in the Daily Mail.

David responded to the allegations of breaking up the marriage by stating to the Post: “For what it’s worth, the only marriage I’ve ever broken up is my own.”

David was married to environmental activist Laurie until 2007 after 14 years. He recently opened up to the Post on the end of his marriage.

“Well, she thought that it would be nice to have sex with someone she liked,” he said. “She wanted to try that. And I said it’s not a good idea.”
