Linda Wallem, creator of television series "Nurse Jackie," is reportedly in a relationship with singer Melissa Etheridge.
"Melissa and Linda have been best friends for over 10 years," a source told People magazine.
Etheridge was previously married to Tammy Lynn Michaels, who she has 4-year-old twins with.
The Grammy award-winning Etheridge began her relationship with Wallen three months after splitting from Michaels, says the source.
However, in a blog published today, Michaels alludes to a suspicion the relationship began earlier than that.
She claims Michaels was waiting "in the wings" at the time of her breakup.
In her posting, she assures readers the twins "are alright."
