Lorenzen Wright Found Dead

Lorenzen Wright, the ex-NBA player, went missing July 19 and according to the Memphis Commercial Appeal, has been found dead. The report indicates that the body of the basketball player was found in a wooded area in Memphis, Tennessee with gunshot wounds. The wounds could be self-inflicted and police are investigating whether there is foul play involved. Wright played five seasons with the Memphis Grizzlies from 2001-1006, and he not only leaves behind a great legacy as a basketball star, but also as a great father to his 6 children, and a great friend. The Commercial Appeal also quotes Brian Parker, a sports agent and friend of Wright for 20 years, who says Lorenzen was a great ambassador for the city of Memphis and he touched a lot of lives.Investigations are still underway to find out if Wrights death was suicide-related or not.
