Louisiana State University Tigers will play against the North Carolina Tar Heels Saturday. But the larger talk revolves around an NCAA investigation that is looking into rule violations coming from North Carolina.Coach Butch Davis said six players are ineligible for the 18th-ranked Tar Heels opening game, and an additional six will be withheld from the game.The NCAA initiated an investigation this summer into whether North Carolina players had improper contact with agents, and the school was looking into allegations that a tutor provided improper academic aid to players, The Charlotte (N.C.) Observer reported."Our coaches and players have a tremendous challenge this weekend, and despite these circumstances, our team will be excited to face LSU."Louisiana State University Tigers are ranked 16th. The football team won a total of three national championship titles, the latest of which was during the 2007 season.
