At the Love Parade in Germany of 2010, a German music festival, a panic-sparked crowd stampede killed at least 10 and injured 15, authorities said.Panic broke out at the Germany Love Parade and victims were crushed after officials tried to stop thousands of people attempting to use a tunnel to enter the grounds of the Love Parade electronic music festival in Duisburg, the BBC reported Saturday."Initial information shows 10 people were killed in a mass panic by an entrance tunnel, 10 had to be resuscitated and 15 more were injured," Duisburg police director Ralf Klauck said.Emergency medical personnel had difficulty reaching the crushed victims, the BBC reported.City officials reportedly chose not to evacuate the grounds of the daylong festival immediately, fearing it might spark more panic.Many of those attending appeared unaware of what had happened, the BBC said.
