A comedy written and directed by Matthew Weiner, the creator of the hit series "Mad Men," will start shooting in the Winston-Salem area next month.

The cast will include Owen Wilson ("Marley & Me"), Amy Poehler ("Parks and Recreation" and "Saturday Night Live"), and Zach Galifianakis ("The Hangover"), who is a Wilkesboro native.

"You Are Here" is scheduled to begin a two-month shoot on May 7, according to a report at Deadline.com, a movie industry website. The independent film is a pet project for Weiner, who recently completed work on the fifth season of "Mad Men," which airs on AMC and has won numerous Emmy and Golden Globe awards.

"This movie has been my passion for eight years and to see it come together with Owen and Zach and Amy is a dream come true," Weiner said in a statement from Gilbert Films, a Los Angeles-based production company that is producing the film. The company's other films have included "The Kids are All Right" and "Garden State."

"I can't wait to get started because the movie is about everything I care about and I'm tired of reading it out loud to my friends," Weiner continued.

"You Are Here" tells the story of two childhood friends, freewheeling Steve (Wilson) and bi-polar Ben (Galifianakis), who go on a road trip after they learn about the death of Ben's estranged father.
