Manhattan UFO reports are being dispelled today as reports are - the mysterious and unidentified objects in the sky weren't so much of a Manhattan UFO invasion as they were simply balloons released by a group of students at a Chelsea elementary school.Was it a plane? A balloon? These were the speculations when a something like a UFO was spotted over Manhattan on Wednesday. According to LATimes.com, these sightings were important enough for people to make 911 emergency calls. The New York Police Department and Federal Aviation Administration both received calls saying that there were objects hovering in the sky, the Times reported. Immediately after the sightings, the news was posted on Twitter and videos were uploaded onto YouTube, Daily Mail said.Strangely, in his book "Callenges of Change," reitred US Air Force officer Stanley A. Fulham said that on Oct. 13, the world would be witness to "a massive UFO display over the world's principal cities." According to Daily Mail, the FAA was unable to find anything abnormal, or even offer an explanation as to this occurence.Do you think it was really a UFO? Or just a bunch of balloons?
