McLobster Rumor Smelled Fishy, Not Arriving Nationwide

The McLobster rumor has been officially squashed and health-food nuts may be pleased.

A viral rumor that McDonalds would soon offer its McLobster roll, available at a handful of East Coast outlets, nationwide, has been shot down.

Customers who look for healthy options may need to think twice before they try to order the dish. It is similar to a regular Maine lobster roll but has added calories from Mayonnaise. It is made of 100 percent lobster meat from the Atlantic Ocean and is served on a French roll.

The McLobster comes and goes at restaurants in certain parts of Maine, as well as Canada.

Rumors also circulated that Mcsushi is going to be added to the fast-food chains U.S. menu.

McDonalds officially dispelled rumors on Twitter:
Despite all the rumors there r no plans 2 bring mclobster or mcsushi 2 the US menu. We r working on a new menu item called McWinning.

Have you ever had a McLobster? If it appeared on your local McDonalds menu, would you eat it?
