Mel Gibson and his wife of 28 years, Robyn, reached a divorce settlement in Los Angeles court Tuesday, Reuters reported.
The deal includes a settlement of joint property between the couple. Attorneys did not release details. Estimates at one point attributed a $900 million net worth to the star of "Braveheart," "Lethal Weapon," and this year's "The Beaver."
Laura Wasser, Robyn Gibson's attorney, said a judge will finalize the deal in August, over two years after Robyn Gibson filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. The pair had separated in 2006, days after Mel Gibson's drunk-driving arrest and subsequent anti-Semitic tirade.
The couple has seven children together. Mel Gibson, 55, has a 20-month-old daughter with Russian musician Oksana Grigorieva. He pled no contest in March to a charge of battery filed by Grigorieva.
