Morgan Freeman, the Hollywood veteran and Oscar-winning actor, has signed up to star in a new 3-D movie entitled "Dolphin Tale". Reports indicate that Freeman will play a doctor who creates a prosthetic attachment for a dolphin to help the injured mammal swim again. Harry Connick Jr. will play alongside Freeman as a marine biologist who rescues the mammal while Ashley Judd will play the boy's mother. The movie is due to start shooting later this year."Dolphin Tale" tells the tale of a young dolphin who loses her tail in a crab trap and is then helped by an 11-year-old boy, who persuades the doctor to start working on the prosthetic device.The movie will be directed by Charles Martin Smith from a screenplay by Karen Janszen. Production will begin September 27th in Clearwater, Floriday with the film due for release sometime next year via Warner Brothers.If Freeman and Judd do sign up for the film, it will be the third time they have worked together after both appearing in 'Kiss the Girls' and 'High Crimes'.
