Natalie Portman has hit a rough patch with her father over her explicit sex scenes in the movie Black Swan, according to sources.
The Isreali doctor is reportedly so upset he has refused to talk to the actress and is very frosty at the actresss attempts for reconciliation.
A source also revealed that Portman, 29, has turned down many risqu roles in the past, including Lolita, for the sake of her fathers approval. When she read the script for Black Swan, however, she was determined to take on the role of ballerina Nina.
Natalie is a very private and dignified person and often influenced by her fathers approval, the source said. [Nina] was one role she simply didnt want to turn down even though she knew it would upset her father.
In one of the sex scenes in the film, the actress participates in a lesbian kiss with Mila Kunis.
He still sees her as his baby and always will and thinks showing herself like this is degrading, the source added.
Black Swan, directed by Darren Aronofsky, has won rave reviews from critics and will premiere in early December.
