Nick Swisher, the NY Yankees outfielder, and actress Joanna Garcia will be getting married this Saturday at the beautiful Breakers Hotel & Resort in Palm Beach.
Swisher and Garcia got engaged in May after dating a year. "She is my princess. I just could not be more happy," Swisher told Page Six last month when he grew out his mustache to raise money for cancer research. His mother, Lillian, is battling leukemia.
"This relationship's been the easiest thing I've ever done," Garcia told Us back in July.
A number of Nick Swisher's Yankees teammates will be at the wedding. Guests will include Yankee pitcher CC Sabathia, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, former boybander Lance Bass (who'll be one of Swisher's groomsmen) and Cameron Diaz.
"We take so much pride in being able to back each other up," he said. "In the baseball world and in television, you have your ups and downs. It's just so great to have your best friend with you throughout everything good and everything bad." Of the nuptials, he said, "We could just not be more ecstatic about it. I can't wait to see her on the day."
