
Nicole Kidman, Ben Affleck, Robert De Niro, and Natalie Portman are just a few of the big name stars whose work will be shown at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
The Toronto International Film Festival has announced the titles it will be showcasing this September. The festival will feature highly-anticipated movies starring Nicole Kidman, Ben Affleck, Robert De Niro, Natalie Portman, Keanu Reeves, Keira Knightley, Carey Mulligan and more. Brace yourself for a whole lot of drama this season. Here are just a couple of the movies coming our way:
In one particular drama, Nicole Kidman will be starring with Aaron Eckhart in John Cameron Mitchell’s “Rabbit Hole,” in which they play parents grieving over the death of their son.
Another drama will be “The Way,” where a father sets out on a pilgrimage after his son’s death played by Martin Sheen.
“The Conspirator,” directed by Robert Redford will tell the tale of the Lincoln assassination and will be starring James McAvoy, Robin Wright Penn, Kevin Kline and Evan Rachel Wood
Keira Knightley and Carey Mulligan star in “Never Let Me Go,” a drama about boarding school friends coming to grips with their sheltered past as adults in the real world.
The highly-anticipated “Stone” will star De Niro and Edward Norton, and will be about a prison inmate plotting his release by manipulating a parole offer.
“Henry’s Crime” is about a man wrongly convicted for a bank robbery, who decides to actually rob a bank after his release, starring Reeves.
A special premier will be “Miral,” with Frieda Pinto in the story of a girl who grows up in war-torn East Jerusalem.
