Nikon D3100, the latest digital SLR camera announced by Nikon, has been deemed the D-SLR for dummies. This improved entry-level camera from Nikon has features that should be easy-to-use for new users who want to own a quality camera.
According to the Nikon website, the Nikon D3100 is an entry level digital-SLR camera with a new CMOS image sensor, image-processing engine and helpful Guide mode that makes capturing beautiful images easy.
This new camera is able to auto-focus while recording video. Other specs include 14.2 megapixel captures and a 3-inch LCD. It will be available beginning in mid-September, at an estimated selling price of $699.95.
