Paula Abdul stopped by at the Ellen DeGeneres Show to promote for her new competition show Live to Dance, but of course, could not avoid talking about her former show American Idol.
Abdul talked to Ellen about what she really thought about the infamous Simon Cowell.
Of their relationship, she said, It was definitely torturous. Definitely love hate to the sense that when we are on the hating side I will actually cross the street and walk on the other side, I avoid him like the plague.
But you know hes like acquired taste. Hes like a fungus he sticks around a long time and then finally you just surrender to it.
You surrender to fungus? Ellen asked.
Yeah! Paula replied.
Paula also complimented Ellen on her short year as a judge on Idol.
I can watch the show objectively. I can watch the show as a fan as I normally do. I thought you did a very good job you handled yourself with poise and elegance.
