Off the Infertility Roller Coaster

 

The thought never crossed my mind -- not having children. It always seemed part of the plan -- a husband, a house, the picket fence and maybe four kids.

And it was going along as planned; the entry level job that would lead to a career, meeting the right man, the wedding, the sunny apartment and a loyal dog.

Then came the rude awakening. I couldn't get pregnant. It was some 20 years ago, and we were hopeful. New technologies said there were options. So we tried and tried and I read up on every new medical advance. Next >
