Peyton Manning of the Indianapolis Colts will take on Philip Rivers of the San Diego Chargers Sunday night in a highly anticipated quarterback battle of the 2010 season.
According to ESPN, the two quarterbacks look to be the league's MVP candidates. While Manning has thrown 286 completions, compared to Rivers' 230 completion, the Chargers quarterback has thrown 3,177 yards so far. Manning, on the other hand, has thrown 3,059 yards. Rivers is leading touchdown throws will three more than Manning at 23.
Rivers will have to deal with the Colts' pass rush, while Manning will have to be up against the Chargers' pass defense, according to BleacherReport.com.
