Pippa Middleton, little sister of Kate Middleton — wife of Britain’s Prince William, is the inspiration behind the latest plastic surgery craze — the "Pippa butt lift," “Good Morning America” reports.
The frenzy over Middleton’s backside first arose during her big sister’s April 29 wedding. Middleton donned a form-fitting bridesmaid dress designed by Alexander McQueen that left watchers asking if her gown was padded or if her backside was all natural.
Blogs and Facebook groups dedicated to Middleton’s rear end soon popped up, earning her the moniker, “Her Royal Hotness.” As a result, plastic surgeons are now flooded with patients looking to get the “Pippa butt lift."
"In that wedding gown, she created a stir," Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Constantino Mendieta told "Good Morning America." "People want those dimensions. She's just gorgeous."
Mendieta, author of the book "The Art of Gluteal Sculping," told “GMA” that 80 percent of his cosmetic work is now butt lifts, with 20 percent of those requests made specifically for the “Pippa butt lift.”
"She's got a nice rump that's not too big," Christina Valdez, a 28-year-old single mother from Miami and one of Mendieta’s patients, told "GMA." "Her frame just looked incredible in that dress."
