Placerville: an elementary school in Northern California is on lockdown after an administrator was shot in the school's office.
John Leubbers, the schools janitor, is suspected of shooting the administrator at Louisiana Schnell School in Placerville. He was arrested at his home an hour after a manhunt was launched.
No children were injured, and the school was locked down. Placerville Union School District posted a message on its website saying students were being evacuated to the county fairgrounds.
"The biggest priority right now is to try to reunite students with family members," Marinas said.
The injured administrator, whose identity has not been released, is in very serious condition at Marshall Medical Center.
