Rachael Ray will begin her fifth season of the Rachael Ray Show with a visit to the home of television personality Kim Kardashian. The episode, titled "Inside America's Most-Watched Homes," will feature time with Kim, her sister Kloe, Kloe's husband, Lamar, her mother Kris, and sister Kourtney. Ray plans to teach them how to make a date night meal.
Also on the show will be Buddy Valastro from Cake Boss. Ray, who is known for not baking, will make a cake for the first time with Valastro for her fifth wedding anniversary to her husband John. In addition, Diane Sawyer will be the guest on the season opener, and was also the first guest on the show five years ago.
Other guests to stop by and pull up a chair to the table are Whoopi Goldberg, Dr. Travis Stork, Keri Russell, Jim Belushi, Steve Harvey, and Julie Bowen. The Rachael Ray Show won a daytime emmy in 2008 and 2009 for Outstanding Talk Show. The season premiere will air September 20th.
In addition, Ray will be hosting a show on the Cooking Channel. Rachael Ray's Week in A Day. Ray will demonstrate how to prepare a week's worth of meals in just one day of cooking. Five easy dishes, like Louisiana style shrimp, crab cake mac and cheese, and mushroom lover's linguini are just some of the recipes to be made.
The show is geared toward busy people who don't think they have enough time to create a meal for their families. The show will prove that not only is making meals at home healthier, but economical as well. The first episode will air September 25th.
