Randy Quaid and his wife Evi have escaped to Canada on the belief that they are on a Hollywood Death List.
The two were arrested on Thursday in Vancouver due to pending burglary charges in California. They had failed to meet their court date.
However, Quad asked Canadian authorities for asylum due to this death list.
According to ABC News New York, Evi Quaid told the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada, We feel our lives are in danger. Randy has known eight close friends murdered in odd strange manners. We feel that were next.
Their lawyers backed up claims saying, Yes, we are seeking asylum from Hollywood star whackers.
Randy has also said that he and his wife believed that the warrants were withdrawn, and they did not travel to Canada to escape. He said he had gone to Vancouver because he was being given an award there by a film critics group, and that he and Evi were considering moving to the city.
