Ricky Gervais could soon be coming to the U.S version of the Office.
The British comedian helped make the show a success in England before it became famous in the states.
NBC confirms the star is slated for a guest appearance on an upcoming U.S. version of the show. He will cross paths with Steve Carell, who plays eccentric and lovable boss Michael on the show.
Carell will be leaving the show this year and TV buffs say the special episode will probably be one of his last.
