Ron Artest of the Los Angeles Lakers will team up with California Congresswoman Grace F. Napolitano to combat mental health stigma and promote federal legislation HR 2531, the Mental Health in Schools.
Addressing an assembly of students, Ron Artest and Congresswoman Grace F. Napolitano will encourage youth to seek mental health assistance if needed and call for the passage of the Mental Health in Schools Act, which would help establish mental health programs in schools across the country.
The event will take place at the Eastmont Intermediate School located at 400 N. Bradshawe Street in Montebello, California.
