Rosie ODonnell has never been one to shy away from a fightnow, she may have to battle for her life.The funny woman expressed her fear of being diagnosed with breast cancer through a long free versed poem on her blog Monday night, writing that doctors discovered a lump in each of her breasts last week and she is currently awaiting the results from the biopsies.
O'Donnell, 48, also states that many of the doctors have reassured her that the two lumps are most likely harmless:
2 hours later the doctor who warned of false positives / called to tell there were 2 spots / but not to worry / they looked innocent enough / my name is called / a biopsy she tells me / on the way back to the MRI tube / probably nothing.
Though the doctors insist the lumps are probably nothing, ODonnell goes on to reveal the likelihood that the lumps may be cancerous, due to her family historyher mother died of breast cancer years ago.
38 my mom was diagnosed / 39 she died /too late when they opened her up in huntington hospital / it was everywhere, she wrote.
ODonnell also had a lump moved at the age of thirtyit tested negative.
According to E! News, ODonnells rep has said theyre hoping for the best and hope to have results by Thursday.
