Sarah Palin Criticizes Obama, Republican Candidates

McGinniss writes that Sarah Palin, Todd’s wife, had a sexual meeting with hoops star Glen Rice and dabbled with marijuana and cocaine, according to New York Daily News.

Sarah Palin continued to leave fans speculating about her possible presidential run Saturday, using her Iowa speech to criticize President Barack Obama and her Republican rivals instead of announcing her candidacy. According to the Guardian, Palin has said she will announce whether or not she will join the race by the end of the month.

In a speech to a Tea Party crowd in Indianola, Iowa, Palin attacked the “crony capitalism” that she said was destroying the United States and the “permanent political class” that reinforced it. She told supporters that Obama “tripled” the deficit, and was “adrift.”

“He doesn’t make sense,” Palin said. “Who wants to win the future by investing in harebrained ideas [like] solar panels and really fast trains? All aboard Obama’s bullet train to bankruptcy.”

The former Alaska governor also attacked the field of Republican presidential candidates, accusing them of rais[ing] mammoth amounts of cash.”

“We need to ask them too, what, if anything, do their donors expect from their investments,” Palin said. “Our country can’t afford more trillion-dollar thank-you notes to campaign backers.”

Palin is set to speak again in Manchester, New Hampshire on Monday. That’s the same day official Republican candidates are set to hold their next televised debate, the Guardian said. It is the first debate to feature frontrunner Rick Perry, Texas governor and Tea Party favorite.
