A shark attack killed an Australian diver in only the second fatal shark attack in those waters in two years.
The diver was reportedly looking for abalone when two sharks took him, according to South Australia Police. The sharks were believed to be great whites.
The skipper on the boat witnessed the incident which occurred near Coffin Bay, about 200 miles west of the city of Adelaide.
Fatal attacks by sharks are rare in Australian waters. There are only 24 recorded deaths in the 20 years upto June 2009.
