Solar Millennium AG has big plans ahead of them. Bloomberg reported that the German company will build the worlds biggest solar-thermal power plant after the California Energy Commission voted to license the project on Wednesday.As a result, its stock rose 15% from 2.16 euros to 19.11 euros.Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger said in a statement, Projects like this need our immediate attention as solar and renewable power are the future of the California economy.The proposed project, which costs $3 billion, will be able to avoid 2 million tons of carbon dioxide a year. It will consist of four 250-megawatt units.Construction on the project will begin at the end of the year. They will be able to deliver electricity to households in 2013.
