Sophie Monk has announced her engagement to businessman Jimmy Esebag.
The Australian pop singer and model and Esebag had been friends for sometime before getting together. Monk, 31, says she is thrilled about the engagement.
Speaking on the Australian radio station 2DayFM this week, Monk said, "I got engaged! It feels right. I think you know when you know".
Esebag, 50, is the head of United Licensing Group which owns the rights to the Playboy brand.
Monk was previously engaged to record producer Benji Madden but broke it off in 2008.
The actress recently posted on her Facebook page, "It's going to be a good year. My best friend of a long, long time just happens to be my soul partner; funny how life takes you where you are finally meant to be".
