This relatively simple dish, using just spaghetti and taco shells, has become an Internet phenomenon, on websites like Facebook and cooking pages.Introduced in 2007 when the Carly's brother and guardian took spaghetti and put it in taco shells, spaghetti tacos has appeared on the show in six episodes, Delish.com reported.According to the New York Times, thanks to reruns of the show, the Internet, and children just talking to other children, spaghetti tacos have been popular, attracting more than 1,300 fans on Facebook.The creator of iCarly, Dan Schneider, said the spaghetti taco dish was originally meant to be a gag, but what was a running joke quickly became pop culture.Even Robert Thompson, a Syracuse University professor of pop culture, said that spaghetti tacos has become "a very important technological development," because "you don't even need a plate."
