Super glue was among the harmful substances used by an unlicensed doctor arrested by Miami police Friday to treat his patient.
Thirty-year-old Oneal Morris injected a mix of different life-threatening ingredients including super glue, tire pumping aerosol spray, and cement into the body of a woman seeking butt enhancement.
The woman went to a home in Miami Gardens in May for the procedure, agreeing to pay $700 for it. She was left with excruciating pain and pneumonia-like symptoms including large infections on her backside. She was forced to go to the hospital and tell doctors what had happened, reported the Pocono record.
Morris had used a hose pipe connected to a cool box to pump the concoction into her body, the woman told police. "In a world where body image is in the forefront of our media, this woman, for whatever reason, thought that this was the answer and she almost lost her life," said Detective Michael Dillon, the Miami Herald reports
Morris was charged for practicing medicine without a license and causing serious bodily injury. Morris himself, a transgender man who dresses and considers himself a woman, also appeared to have enhanced butt features in the pictures from the arrest.
Police believe Morris was part of a larger network of similar fake doctors providing home body enhancement procedures at a low cost. They are encouraging other victims to come forward.
Morris has been released Friday on a $7,500 bond.
