Tommy Lee Jones returns to theaters this weekend.Tommy Lee Jones and Ben Affleck co-star in thefilm "The Company Men" which will hit theaters tomorrow night, on December 10th. The film starring Tommy Lee Jones sheds light on the rampant epidemic of unemployment that has affected millions of people nationwide. Corporate layoffs are continuing, and with no end in sight, displaced employees are scrambling for solutions in the film - much like real life.
The Company Men is a 2010 drama film written and directed by John Wells.
The film analyzes the effects of corporate downsizing on families and communities. Ben Affleck plays a white-collar corporate employee who, after losing his six-figure salary, is offered a job installing drywall from his blue-collar working brother-in-law, played by Kevin Costner.
Filming for the production began in April 2009 and completed in June of the same year in Boston. Partial filming for the production occurred in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston and also in the Boston suburbs of Wellesley and Framingham.
