Toni Braxton Broke, Singing Financial Blues

Toni Braxton continues to suffer money woes in the wake of her 1998 Chapter 7 bankruptcy. A little more than a decade has passed since the singer and former Dancing with the Stars contestant filed, but now in 2010, she claims to owe between $10-$50 million.

According to TMZ, Braxton is not sure of where all her debts are coming from but believes she owes AT&T, The Four Seasons Hotels, Tiffany & Co., Orkin Pest Control, the Internal Revenue Service, and Mesa Air Conditioning, to name a few.

Braxton estimates that her net worth is between $1-$10 million, so her ability to pay is non-existent. In March, a $400,000 federal tax lien waslevied on her accounts. She also mayowe the City of L.A.Parking Violations Bureau as well as the DMV in Nevada and California.

In 2008, Braxtoncompeted on DWTSalong with partner Alex Mazo. Thepair was ousted about one month before the finals. Duringfinals week, Braxton made headlines again for having a benign tumor removed from her breast.

The singer, popularin the 90's for romantic love songs like "Breathe Again," said thatthe tumor had grown but was caught in time, and that her family had a history of the disease. "My grandmother on my dad's side died of breast cancer, and I have aunts on both sides that have breast cancer...I was very fortunate.

The 43-year old mother of two will now be turning her attention away from these recent turmoils and on to promoting her latest album Pulse, which released on May 4, 2010, and has enjoyed moderate success throughout the world.
