Vicki Gunvalson, star of The Real Housewives of Orange County, opened up to US Weekly magazine about the collapse of her 16-year marriage.
We tried, Vicki said. Its just too hard on both of us. It is amicable and we want to keep this as private as possible.
Gunvalson filed for divorce from husband Donn on Monday.
The pair were married in 1994 and lived with Gunvalsons two children from her previous marriage. The reality stars also renewed their wedding vows in a ceremony filmed for an episode of their show, after experiencing marital troubles in 2009.
Gunvalson also confirmed in the interview that shes currently filming the sixth season of The Real Housewives of Orange County.
