Vince Young Meltdown is getting ugly. Young stormed off the field after he wasn't re-inserted during the Washinton Redskins game. Now, several reports say Young left his room at a hotel and dissapeared for hours.
Young intially left the Redskins game with a thumb injury but then got angry he wasn't re-inserted into the game. Rusty Smith closed out the contest in a 19-16 overtime loss to the Redskins. He took the Titan's loss hard, walking off the field and throwing his jersey and pads into the stands. In the locker room, he fought with coach Jeff Fisher.
Fisher later announced Young would not be his starting quarterback any longer.
Clearly that is no way to respond, said Fisher, so we have some things we have to sort out with him.
Young is one of the highest paid quarterbacks in football, and is due $12.75 million next season, including a $4.25 million roster bonus.
