The Yemen crisis continues with a munitions factory explosion today that killed 78 looters and injured many others.
Officials say 27 of the wounded are in critical condition.
Unrest and chaos in Yemen grows as the government opposes youth groups, military defectors, clerics, and tribal leaders wanting him to resign.
The accidental explosion resulted in many deaths because soldiers left their post by the factory, allowing looters to enter. Similar incidents have occurred in the last few days where government forces leave their positions.
The United States and allies are concerned Yemen could collapse under the political tension if it is not peacefully resolved.
President Ali Abdullah Saleh said he would not compromise anymore with the opposition and warns a civil war could ensue if he is forced to leave too soon.
The deputy governor of Abyan says the government is to blame for the explosion because they pulled back security forces.
