Zac Efron Gets Permission to Hit NYC Strip Club from Girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens; Promotes 'Charlie St. Cloud.'

Zac Efron may have visited a strip club recently, but at least he did so after getting permission frm Hollywood starlet girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens. Efron, a Disney star who has since made it big, is hardly the "type" of guy you'd expect to hit up a strip club and a raunchy bar in New York City.The clean-cut star has been with Vanessa Hudgens for a long time now, so while he admitted to being nervous about seeking permission, he knew it was the right thing to do.He told Jimmy Kimmel more about the phone call --- "The hardest thing was calling your girlfriend before. That's the awkward part. How do you even start that conversation without feeling like a total a**hole? (But) she was fine with it."Teen Hollywood reports that "...And Efron reveals the Manhattan club didn't quite live up to his expectations. He adds, "I had this image of what it would be like... I've heard a lot about these places, mostly from rap music. They're supposed to be pretty reputable, right? I envisioned myself on a nice couch, stunna shades, like T-Pain and Usher, you know, making it rain money.
