Welcome to the Dental and Oral Health Discussion Board

Greetings,

If you have concerns or questions about oral health or dental problems, including symptoms, treatments, or general questions, please feel free to use this forum to ask questions of other ThirdAgers who share your interests. Although you should never consider the ideas and opinions voiced here as medical advice on your specific condition, you can and should use them as springboards for discussions with your own personal healthcare professionals.

Because this forum will not be tightly moderated, it is the responsibility of all participants to play fair, treat other respectfully, and keep the tone civil and caring.

If you feel there is sufficient interest in a particular topic, feel free to start a new thread. Everyone is welcome to participate as fully as they are able.

Thanks for listening and the best of health to each of you.

My denture look too big!

I had my upper teeth pulled early December 2008. I am okay with the process, learning to live with it, and the teeth are pretty, however they do not seem to fit my mouth correctly. They stick out in front and you can see where the gums are supposed to be. I will be going in to get my final fitting in June. I have talked to the Dentist about it before and he did not seem concerned. The teeth I got are supposed to look natural but if they fit wrong, what are my rights in getting it done correctly?
