Surprise Your Partner
On a normal weekday -- not a birthday, anniversary or other special day -- bring home a small gift that will appeal to the senses, such as a bouquet of flowers, a romantic CD, a scented candle, a box of chocolates, a book of erotic photography or a pair of silk underwear.
Have the store wrap the gift to make it truly special, then watch your partner's eyes light up when he or she realizes you brought her a present "just because." The element of surprise can be very arousing!
Another option is to surprise him or her where she least expects it. Is your partner planning to pick up the dry cleaning? Have a bouquet of flowers waiting
at the cleaner's. If you know his or her regular grocery shopping, library, gym, volunteer or salon schedule, be creative and set something up. A smile, a pleasant word and a small tip might grease the wheels for your surprise bouquet. If your partner doesn't make his or her whereabouts known, take him or her to dinner and have flowers and candy waiting at the most romantic table in the restaurant!
