Delight the Senses

While the effects of most "aphrodisiacs" are medically unproven, legend has it that foods like chocolate, asparagus and oysters can be therapeutic to your libido. But there's no doubt that certain foods are sexy -- it's all about presentation and delivery!

Pull yourself out of your normal dining routine and create an evening of sensual delight. Arrange a tray with a variety of foods that appeal to the senses of smell, touch and taste. You might select raspberries, dark chocolate, cinnamon candy, champagne, asparagus, stuffed mushrooms or whatever else you and your partner enjoy eating.

For this exercise, wear a blindfold while being fed by your partner, allowing time for the delicious scents to waft through your nose and the delectable flavors to melt on your tongue. By removing the sense of sight from the equation, you can focus on minute sensations, turning an ordinary cookie into an extraordinary concoction of sugar and chocolate. Take turns with wearing the blindfold and eating the food.
