Guess who have orgasms most often? It’s those over 60. Fifty-nine percent say they almost always enjoy the big O, compared to a mere 29% of those in their twenties. That is just one of the findings of a new survey of over five thousand singles conducted online in December by match.com.
Other findings that may be surprising: Republicans have more orgasms than Democrats, especially conservative Republicans. More than half say the reach climax every time compared to 40%t of liberal Democrats.
Also, according to this survey, men tend to be more romantic than women. They are more likely to fall in love at first sight and believe couples can stay together forever. Only 3% of the men surveyed wanted “to date lots of people.” In fact, more women than men say bad sex would end a relationship. Other turn-offs : An unclean appearance (67%); being lazy (66%); being too needy (63%); lacking a sense of humor (54%); and distance — living more than three hours apart (49%).
Other surprises: Men are turned on, not off by ambitious women. More than 50% said they would not be interested in a woman who was not interested in her career. And 43% of guys thought it was okay for a man to be Mr. Mom. Only 34% of women agreed.
Possibly the biggest surprise of all: Marriage no longer seems a high priority for many. Almost 40% of singles 21 and older surveyed were uncertain about wanting to marry at all.
