Boomers' Happy Love Lives

Adults in their 50s still know how to have a good time between the sheets. According to a new study, 42 percent of sexually active people over age 50 have sex at least once a week -- while an additional 25 percent don't go more than two weeks without getting busy.

There's a public perception that sexual excitement declines as people age, however 60 percent of those polled revealed that making love is more fulfilling now than it ever was in their 20s or 30s.

Not only does the over-50 crowd love a good romp theyre more than happy to discuss their sexual exploits. Far from growing prudish, 85 percent say that there's nothing wrong with talking about what goes on between the sheets.

Only small numbers of the demographic were disgruntled when it came to sex. Just 21 percent of men and 12 percent of women claimed to be dissatisfied with life in the bedroom.

Emma Soames, who carried out the study with Saga Magazine, concluded, "There is absolutely no reason why people cannot go on enjoying intimacy in their later years. It is also interesting that, of those who say their sex lives have got worse, men are almost twice as likely to report dissatisfaction than women, lets just hope these people dont live together!"
