Does visualization work? Well, we may find out on Sunday. You know what visualization is, don’t you? It’s using one’s imagination to envision a specific goal in one’s life as a way of making the desired goal actually happen. Some believe using this concentrated power of positive thinking can really make dreams or goals come true.
Some who believe in the power of visualization ask others to help them visualize what they want to happen. That’s just what supermodel Gisele Bundchen did. Gisele, the world’s highest priced model, sent an email asking her friends for their prayers for her husband Boston Patriots quarterback Tom Brady who, of course, is playing in the Super Bowl this Sunday. But Gisele did more than that. She asked everyone to also “envision him happy and fufillled, experiencing with his team a victory.”
Will the power of Gisele-and -friends' visualization be a deciding factor in leading the team to victory? But, hey, let’s take a time out here, became many athletes also use visualization, so no doubt Giant quarterback Eli Manning may be visualizing, too.
Guess we'll just have to wait until Sunday to pass the wings and find out.
