When it comes to lingerie, we're seeing a majority of feminine tones being used, with a focus on intricate pleating like knifing and decorative seaming, says McDonald. It's not just about red, black or white anymore! Jewel tones like fuchsia, teal, chocolate, soft pastel blush, coral, and mint are the main focus when it comes to color.

McDonald is also noticing that whats popular on the runwaysanimal prints, graphics, embroidery, laceis also appearing in lingerie. But, whether you follow the trends or not, its important to choose the pieces that look best on you.

Avoid anything that is going to enhance those areas of uncertainty, says McDonald. The better you look, the more confident you'll feel.

Your man loves your curves, so why dont you embrace them as well? There are plenty of options to make you feel comfortable, including babydolls, robes and lingerie sets that play up your best features.

A great look for those ladies with more of a voluptuous body type is a negligee or babydoll teddy, which will cover those areas of sin, says McDonald. Also, robes are making it back into the mix with a focus on beautiful solids and oversized florals made of silk. Keeping in mind your body type, dark colors are obviously more slimming.
