Using the Law of Attraction to Create the Life You Want

I am sure you have heard of the Secret, in fact it’s now pretty much old news. However, Law of Attraction ideas are going stronger than ever and are here to stay.
But what is Law of Attraction and how can it help you in your life, your relationship?
In essence, the Law of Attraction teaches that life is lived forward as opposed to backwards. What this means is that you create life as you go. What you do, think and how you react today creates tomorrow. This makes sense, of course if you think about it. If you overeat today, you are not going to feel good tomorrow. If you get into a fight with your significant other today, you are going to feel bad or have to make up tomorrow.
However, when most people think about what they want, they think about it backwards. When I get the job, money, better relationship, etc – fill in the thing you feel you are waiting for – I will be happy. However, if you don’t do anything towards the goal today, how are you going to get it tomorrow? And typically, people who are waiting for the thing that will make them happy when they get it are not taking action towards than thing, as they feel powerless.
And that is exactly the lesson of Law of Attraction. You can have anything you want so long as you are willing to believe that you can have it and THEN take steps to make it happen.
In fact, the idea that this is an effective life strategy to create the life you want has been proven by clinic physiological research by at least one psychologist and confirmed by another, as reported in a recent CNN article. Take a look at an article I wrote about what these two psychologists have learned about how to make effective changes in life, in essence using the Law of Attraction techniques. One of the psychologists says that people how follow these ideas achieve on the average 40 percent of what they want within 1 month.
I would say that’s a pretty effective use of the Law of Attraction!
