Want to lose weight? Plan for success.
- Don't be a slave to the scales. Weighing yourself every day can be dispiriting. Reshaping your body is about more than just weight; it also includes toning up -- which won't show on the scales.
- Love yourself. No matter how little we eat, few of us are going to wake up looking like a supermodel, so we may as well accept our limitations.
- Be realistic. Set yourself plenty of small goals along the way rather than aiming for a distant point and a massive weight loss. Achieving small goals on an ongoing basis helps boost self-esteem and makes us feel positive.
- Don't just diet. Increase the exercise levels. Working out in tandem, eating less food, and getting more exercise comprise the foolproof method of losing weight.
- Don't get discouraged by minor hiccups; we all have them. Accept them as the hiccups they are, and look forward to the next day.
