In this video, chef Ani Phyo whips up a salad with a pad-thai twist. Kelp noodles, greens and basil are tossed in a homemade sweet and spicy Thai peanut sauce.
Coconut oil and kelp noodles work with the thyroid to increase metabolism and precipitate weight loss. Kelp noodles are also rich in nutrients, such as iodine and iron, which are important for womens health.
Ingredients
Thai Sauce
2 tbsp almond butter
1/3 cup coconut oil
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp coriander powder
1 red jalapeno pepper
2 tsp lemon juice
1/3 c water
Salad
Kelp noodles
cup basil
cup spring greens
